I went to my lab last Sunday,

There was nothing had to be done immediately,

but I just went there with a light heart.

after a while, my professor phoned me.

He said if I could enter his office and send him a couple of files.

//can you enter my office and send me a couple of files in my computer?"

His office was locked.

I tried to find a building security, but he was out then.

So I called him to open professor's office,

but He told me It took more than 30 minutes to come back.

after around 40 minute waiting, the security came.

He said whether I still wanted him to open the door.

//"do you sill want me to open the door?"

Finally, I was able to enter my professor's office,

turn on his PC, and

e-mail him with the files which he wanted to receive.

I called him to check the email.

He told me

he'd found that he'd had the file already by himself,

he just had forgotten to say that.

reported speech 2탄!

1) Yes/No question --> If/Whether. 어순은 그대로, 물음표는 생략

Are you married?  --> People often asked me if I am married?

What do you take with you? --> We asked what do they take with them?

Do you have any kid?

He asked if she has any kids?

I told him I have two.

My brother asked me to lend her a flashlight.

reported speech!

The plane is just a 16-seater.

She said that the plane was just a 16-seater.

this morning --> that morning

here --> there

today --> that day

now --> then

then --> then or after then

next week --> the following week or the week after

tomorrow --> the following day or the day after

yesterday --> the previous day or the day before

last year --> the year before

We're going to the beach this morning.

He said they were going to the beach that morning.

Yesterday we went to a farm.

He said that they had gone to a farm the day before.
